Lynn at work

Lynn and Neil Paterson created Lynniel Arts and Illustration in 1994.
Lynn is primarily the 'Arts' section, producing her dog pictures, working mainly in oils on canvas and pencil drawings, which we then produce fine art prints from. Recently, we have invested in our own large format Epson printer for our fine art prints, so now the whole process from painting, digitally scanning, and printing is totally controlled by ourselves which allows us to produce the highest quality prints we can.
Neil is primarily the 'Illustration' section specialising mainly in architectural illustrations for advertising and marketing, producing watercolour and computer rendered 3D models.
We certainly don't stay in our own areas, Lynn also illustrates commercially, wildlife illustrations and maps for local nature trail literature and colour site layouts and logos for architectural advertising are just a few of her many talents, and Neil also paints and draws dogs.

We live and work in the Cannock Chase area of Staffordshire, England, and have 3 children, all boys! a 12 yr old 'beardie' and 2 cats. It helps that our main interests are drawing and painting, as we do not have much time for anything else! but we are also keen on nature and the countryside. We also enjoy myths and mythology, especially fairies and dragons, and also anything historical. Lynn is very keen on Geneology and is researching the Paterson line, while Neil is interested in playing the guitar, listening to music, model making, photography, cycling and watching comedy programs and motor sport. Our favourite holiday destinations are the Scottish highlands in the UK, and The Greek islands abroad.
